Congratulations to the Edmonton Capitals winning their first North American Baseball League Championship on an 8 degree night. Just in case you were wondering, the last time an Edmonton baseball team won a League title was back in 2002 as the Edmonton Trappers (1984, 1996, 1997. 2002).

It was fun to be a part of a memorable night at Telus Field (especially when fans started throwing things at the Capitals (huh?) in the eighth inning after the ump threw out the Caps reliever and pitcher).

A banner was given to the winning team and a cheque was given to the MVP

The Rickster (wondering how the home plate lounge buffet is one of the best things in baseball).
