2. Best presenters of the night – Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy.

3. Octavia Spencer, you better get ready for your Oscar nomination. Jean Dujardin, you better get ready for your Oscar win.

4. Matt Leblanc won a Golden Globe? Huh? He was the guy in Joey, correct?

5. Paula Patton looked very happy to be there.

6. Morgan Freeman deserves a Golden Globe for the last scene of The Descendants (and his Electric Company ‘Casket’ song).

7. Three times was a charm for Ricky Gervais despite the lack of screen time. Madonna and Antonio Banderas both call him out (both are in Evita…1996 reference). Leonardo DiCaprio got more camera time than anybody in the Beverly Hilton.

8. Sir Ben Kingsley is going to get sir action tonight with his wife, Daniela, who was all over him.

9. Mr. Gosling, where were you? The dog in from The Artist made an appearance and he wasn’t the main lead.
