and a magazine that could listen to it said that the other 4 songs they could hear were not as pop-like as burn it down and there is already one song that sounds very hard (lost in the echo)

It’s great, but I feel what they’ve done (no pun intended
) on the last 4 albums has been better. While I can’t definitely say what it does and doesn’t need, maybe more heavy guitars (i know there are some in the chorus, but more ht/meteora guitars) and a less “poppy” sound? All I know is that everything they’ve done before has been the opposite of what I expected, while still being some of the best music I’ve ever heard. This is what I was afraid they’d do, but fuck it, it’s lp, it’s still fucking amazing and I’m still pumped!

sigh. I really hope the rest of the album isn’t this bad. They might as well do away with the rest of the band if they aren’t going to accent them. A little guitar noise in the background and an electronic drum beat isn’t cutting it. I loved A Thousand Suns, but damn I’m wanting some old LP guitar back in the mix. I guess I’ll see in June.
