Run for Stuff is an Edmonton-created app that rewards you for working out. FINALLY.

The app works exactly as it sounds – you run or walk – and you get stuff. The creators have partnered with local businesses to give discounts to its users.

Using the GPS in your phone, you collect points for every kilometre you move. The app was created by six university students who say their goal is to get more people moving.

Co-founder Michael Bouchard told Global News that, “Only five per cent of people in North America get their daily activity, which is 30 minutes, so it’s not that much.”

The app is set to debut in August, but you can get involved and collect points now HERE.
