In 2004, JAY-Z and Linkin Park released the collaborative album Collision Course. Here they are performing “Numb/Encore” that same year, a song that earned them the Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration:

 

Both artists were fans of one another before the collaboration and became close friends while recording. Then, thirteen years later, Chester Bennington took his own life after a battle with depression.

JAY-Z recently sat down with BBC Radio 6 to speak about his friend and the importance of removing the stigma surrounding mental health. Watch below:
