LISTEN: Sonic Talks to Man Who Was Victim of Racial Slur Attack And Starts 'Make It Awkward' Campaign

Last week an Edmonton man, Jesse Lipscombe, was the victim of racial slurs being yelled from a passing car downtown. He happened to be filming a PSA for his job and the camera caught the whole incident. The video swiftly went viral and inspired conversations about what to do when something like this happens….and yes, it still happens. It has also inspired the ‘Make It Awkward‘ campaign.

Jesse spoke to Sonic about the incident, and what he is doing about it.
