November 11, 2017 marks the 98th anniversary of Remembrance Day, first founded in 1919. It is a time to remember those in the armed forces who have lost their lives while in the line of duty. Remembrance Day recalls the day the hostilities during World War I ended in 1918, and is recognized at “the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month”.
