Over the weekend, Pearl Jam unleashed their new song “Can’t Deny Me” to members of their Ten Club fan club. The song has now received a wide release – with the promise of a new album.

Written by Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready and produced by longtime collaborator Brendan O’Brien, the song rings heavy with political dissatisfaction, with lyrics that may or may not contain references to President Donald Trump like “You may be rich but you can’t deny me / Got nothing but the will to survive” and “The country you are representing/ Condition critical.”. Listen on Spotify and Apple Music below.

While there’s no release date, the band has stated that their new album will be out “sometime this year”.
