Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda has released his first official single since the passing of his bandmate Chester Bennington.

On June 15th, Shinoda will release “Post-Traumatic”, an LP that shares a name with the online-only EP he released earlier this year.  Talking about the new album, Shinoda told an LA radio station:

“I had been writing these songs and they were both helping me navigate both emotionally and logically.  There wasn’t going to be any clear answers. We’re just going to have to wait and see and go with the flow.  It’s a journey out of grief and darkness, not into grief and darkness. If people have been through something similar, I hope they feel less alone. If they haven’t been through this, I hope they feel grateful.”
