Will works at the Glenrose Hospital and asked for help surprising 4 “wonderful, wonderful teens” he works with.  He said the teens are great kids who sometimes struggle with mental health challenges, and he wanted to help them see the Vance Joy SONiC Session at Rogers Place this Wednesday, as Will had been teaching them “Riptide” by Vance Joy on the Ukulele & the kids were big Vance fans.

Initially, we didn’t have any concert tickets left for this packed Vance Joy show on June 27 at SONiC.  However, SONiC music director Brandy Taylor reached out to Vance’s record representatives, and they HUGELY pulled through with not only spots for ALL the kids & Will to see the Rogers Place Vance Joy SONiC Session, but also tickets to see the show.

Huge shutout to Music Director Brandy Taylor, Vance Joy’s people, and Vance himself for helping organise this (and of course the generous Will)!

Here’s how will reacted when we told him the news that his kids would be able to go (and hear Will’s initial email to us about his kids):
