It’s Saturday, September 8 and you’re on your way to SONiC Field Day. You’ve got your super-fly festival outfit on, you’ve got your tickets… but how are you getting there?

 

Here’s everything you need to know about getting to SONiC Field Day at Victoria Park!

 

Road Closure

River Valley Road will be closed from 109 Street NW to Groat Road. This closure will come be in effect from 12pm on Saturday, September 8 until 12am on Sunday, September 9.

 

 

Shuttle Bus Routes

Option #1 – RE/MAX Field

  • RE/MAX Field (10233 96 Ave NW) will be the closest Park N Ride option to the festival. It will be the main designated Event Parking Area, parking subject to capacity. Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) – SONiC Field Day buses will run between RE/MAX Field and Victoria Park to bring you to and from the festival.
  • Bus begins running at 12pm, with service every 5 minutes.

 

Option #2 – Health Sciences / Jubilee LRT Station

  • The Health Sciences / Jubilee LRT Station (114 Street & 83 Avenue) will be the secondary hub for you party people. Parking will be available in the area. ETS – SONiC Field Day buses will run between the LRT station and Victoria Park all day.
  • Bus begins running at 12pm, with service every 10 minutes.

 

Option #3 – Corona Station – Jasper Ave – Bus Stop #1035

  • Corona Station (107 Street & Jasper Ave) is your third option. ETS – SONiC Field Day buses will run between Corona and Victoria Park all day.
  • Bus begins running at 12pm, with service every 15 minutes.

 

General Information

  • All buses will be FREE of charge and accessible friendly.
  • Buses will run from SONiC Field Day until everyone is safely off-site.
  • If you would like to Uber or cab, you’ll need to get dropped off at any of the above shuttle locations. No vehicles will be able to access River Valley Road.
  • Ride your bike to the festival! There will be a lock up area provided outside of the grounds that will be well-lit.
