WATCH: Frank Turner Plays Surprise Show At Boyle Street Community Services

This is amazing, as yesterday Frank Turner had a show at the Winspear, but earlier in the day he played a surprise pop-up show at Boyle Street. His latest album is called “Be More Kind” and is about trying to look out for each other.

He was asked on social media to play a show at Boyle Street, and leaped at the opportunity. “It’s just me trying to use whatever kind of small platform I have in life to spread the word about something more than just the fact that I have a record for sale” he told the Edmonton Journal.

Show 2230, Boyle Street Community Centre, Edmonton. They do great work here for the city’s vulnerable and homeless population. They can always use donations of toiletries, tampons, underwear, socks and so on. You can drop them in direct or bring them to the show tonight at Winspear.
