The Grammy Awards went down last night and there was very little rock represented during the televised portion. However a very cool moment happened earlier in the night when the Rock awards were handed out…again, not on TV.

Chris Cornell won “Best Rock Performance” for his song “When Bad Does Good.” His kids went up and accepted the award on his behalf with an awesome tribute to their dad. Check it out.

The winners in the Rock categories included:
Rock Album: “The Fires” – Greta Van Fleet
Alternative Music Album: Colors – Beck
Rock Performance (single or track): “When Bad Does Good” – Chris Cornell
Metal Performance: “Electric Messiah” – High On Fire
Rock Song (goes to songwriters): “Masseduction” – Jack Antonoff & Annie Clark, songwriters (St. Vincent)

– Bryce
