Nardwuar the Human Serviette, Canada’s all-knowing musical interviewer, is being inducted into the British Columbia Entertainment Hall of Fame in his hometown of Vancouver just in time for his 50th birthday.

The quirky musician, radio host and interviewer just celebrated his 30th year broadcasting his weekly radio show CiTR. Nardwuar holds an impressive resume, but he’s most well-known for his YouTube series where he interviews some of the world’s most iconic musicians. The channel has racked up millions of views on videos with Nirvana, Beck, Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, Wierd Al, Mudhoney, Travis Barker and more. His most common interviewee is Snoop Dogg, who calls Nardwuar a dear friend.

Nardwuar’s award will be placed in the stone walkway in Grandville Island in the coming weeks with a ceremony taking place in September. Until then, doot doola doot doo!
