SURPRISE! On Friday, Foo Fighters released a brand new EP entitled 01070725. It features the band’s previously recorded versions of Arcade Fire’s “Keep The Car Running” from a 2007 session at the BBC and Dead Kennedy’s “Holiday in Cambodia” from the 2007 MTV VMAs. You’re not crazy to think that’s not Grohl singing – its actually System of a Down’s Serj Tankian who joined the band for the rendition.

The EP revolves around recordings the band made in 2007, the year they released Echos, Silence, Patience and Grace. The EP includes “The Pretender”‘s B-side “If Ever”, a bonus track on the Japanese edition of the album. “Seda” is the demo version of the album track “Come Alive”.
