The Strokes are back! They have officially confirmed the name and release date of their new album, which will be their first full-length studio album in seven years. The New Abnormal is coming out April 10.

Frontman Julian Casablancas made the announcement live at a Bernie Sanders rally last night (February 10), but the band also confirmed the news on their social media.

The Strokes also gave a preview of two new songs off the album, ‘At the Door’ and ‘Bad Decisions’.

The Strokes first teased the release of a new album while playing a New Year’s Eve show in their hometown of New York City.

Casablancas told fans in the crowd, “Yeah, we’ve got a new album coming out soon! Surprise! 2020, here we come. The 2010s, whatever the f*** they’re called, we took ’em off. And now we’ve been unfrozen, and we’re back.”
