Following the success of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the comic series, The Umbrella Academy, Dark Horse Comics has confirmed Gerard Way is working on a spin-off series about Klaus Hargreeves.

The comic book series will follow Klaus ten years before The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite took place. Klaus, AKA Number Four or The Seance, became a fan-favourite on the Netflix series, played by Robert Sheehan.

You Look Like Death will be released in June by Dark Horse Comics in six-parts. Way will be teaming up with Shaun Simon again for the first time since they wrote The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys together in 2013.

The My Chemical Romance frontman released the first and second issues of The Umbrella Academy in 2007 and 2008, but took a decade-long break before releasing the third part in 2018. Since that last story ended on a cliffhanger, fans are hoping the story isn’t done.

While there’s been no news of that fourth installment, Dark Horse Comics is working on an Umbrella Academy card game, which is expected to hit Kickstarter later this year.

On the plus side, Netflix has started teasing season two with a set of character posters released last week.
