NASA announces Tom Cruise is filming his next movie on the International Space Station

Today it was announced by NASA that Tom Cruise will be shooting in a real space station.

The movie has not yet been announced but we do know that this actor, famous for doing his own stunts, will now be doing his stunts in the International Space Station. That’s right, Tom Cruise will be the first actor to film in space. There’s also a possibility that he will be traveling on Elon Musk’s SpaceX rocket, to get 250 miles above Earth. No other details have been figured out about the movie, but Deadline, who first reported the story, said it would not be a new installment of Mission: Impossible.

Elon Musk responded to the tweet saying “Should be a lot of fun!”

It’ll be interesting to see who goes with him, for the first real space film.
