The season finale of SNL will now be this weekend

The at-home episode of Saturday Night Live this weekend will be the last one of season 45.

The show usually has about 21 episodes in a season, but this year it’s being cut short at 18. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been two SNL At-Home episodes. They featured celebrities like Paul Rudd, Adam Sandler, Tom Hanks, Chris Martin from Coldplay, and more. Although we don’t know who will host the finale or who the musical guest is just yet, a tweet posted by SNL today gives us a sneak peek at what or who to expect for the finale.

Aside from the final episode on Saturday, Sunday they will also be airing a compilation of old sketches for Mother’s Day.
