Chris Martin, Finneas, Tove Lo, and more took part in a cover of U2, for “Dear Class of 2020”.

The four-hour YouTube stream featured many performances to celebrate the graduating classes of this year. YouTube describes it as “a virtual commencement celebration bringing together inspirational leaders, celebrities, and YouTube creators to celebrate graduates, their families, and their communities.”

One of the standouts was described by Rolling Stone as an “all-star” cover, of “Beautiful Day” by U2. Although the song didn’t include the frontman himself, it started with Bono sharing a speech about America.

“We now know that America is a song yet to be written. That America might be the greatest song the world has never heard. It’s a wild thought, that America is yet to exist. And even wilder that the Class of 2020 might be the very people to bring it into being.”

The song was remixed by Billie Eilish’s brother Finneas and included vocals from Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Tove Lo, Khalid, Noah Cyrus and more.
