“Lay Your Head On Me” is a collaboration between Mumford and Sons frontman Marcus Mumford, and the Jamaican-American music project Major Lazer. They came together after Mumford became friends with Diplo, who is one of the three members of Major Lazer, and they began experimenting in the studio together.

A version of the song was also recently performed with 200 artists from 28 countries, for Earth Day. Marcus Mumford had this to say on CBS about the video:

“It’s just people at home, like playing instruments, people dancing, people with their neighbors and spreading this message that we love in this song that we’ve done together. And yeah, I just think it’s a celebration of people at home. And I love it.”
