The nominees for Best Alternative Video were: twenty one pilots “Level Of Concern”, Machine Gun Kelly ft. Travis Barker “Bloody Valentine”, the 1975 “If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)”, All Time Low “Some Kind Of Disaster”, FINNEAS “Let’s Fall in Love for the Night” and Lana Del Rey “Doin’ Time”. Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker also did a rooftop performance of “Bloody Valentine” earlier that night, in the pre-show.

You can watch the full pre-show performance below.

A big highlight of the night was the touching moment when Travis Barker did a tribute to artists (actors and musicians) who’ve passed away in 2020 including Neil Peart of Rush and Chadwick Boseman who passed away on Friday.

“Tonight we remember them all”.
