On September 4th Fender released a video announcing the Billie Eilish Signature Ukulele. It’s matte black and has a pattern made of Billie’s “blohsh™” logo, which is an outline of a lopsided stickman. The instrument also includes a Fishman Kula Preamp with volume and tone knobs, as well as a three-band EQ and built-in tuner. The head of the ukulele is even in the iconic shape of the Fender Telecaster headstock.

Here’s what Fender had to say about it:

“There’s no one like Billie Eilish. Designed in collaboration with the icon herself, this concert uke is a bold take on the four-string classic. Featuring a built-in preamp and sapele body adorned with Billie’s signature “blohsh” symbol, this stylish, stage-ready strummer embodies the Grammy®-winner’s unmistakable attitude – and edge.”

According to Billie, the release is inspired by the start of her career.

“The ukulele was the first instrument I learned,” she said in a statement. “It’s where I started writing, and where I found new ways of writing that I had never tried before. It inspires a different kind of writing. The rules of the ukulele are simple, and basically, if you know three chords you can play almost any song. I hope my Fender Signature ukulele inspires people to start playing, and start writing; anyone can do it.”

You can watch the video of her talking about and playing the ukulele below.

The instrument retails for $300 USD, you can pre-order it here.

Billie Eilish’s “blohsh™” logo has also been used for other products including her clothing line and recently, an Adobe lense.
