Tame Impala’s “Is It True” is a song off their latest album, The Slow Rush.

When on tour frontman Kevin Parker is joined by Dominic Simper, Jay Watson, Cam Avery, and Julien Barbagallo.
However Kevin Parker writes, records and produces everything himself, and for this project he gave himself a time limit. Parker purposely wrote the track in just eight hours because he wanted to only spend a short amount of time on the song.
He says the song is “from the perspective of someone who shuts out love because they’re afraid of the future”.

The musical video has a psychedelic aesthetic much like their live shows do. You can watch the video below!

Back in May the song was performed on The Late Show with Stephan Colbert where we see Kevin Parker playing the bass, guitar and singing by himself, as the song was created. You can watch the performance below!
