Theatre Prospero and Thousand Faces Festival are happy to present a special online broadcast of ‘Rocko and Nakota: Tales from the Land’.

“Meet Nakota, an isolated indigenous 11-year-old boy trying to write his own stories and find his way forward. One day, his 103-year-old grandfather Rocko visits him while he is in the hospital and together they explore many stories of the present along with the long-forgotten stories of the past.”

The broadcast will be on National Indigenous Peoples Day, June 21st, with support from EPCOR’s Heart+Soul Fund. The show is performed and written by Anishinaabe artist Josh Languedoc.

The stream will be free to watch. For more information click here.
