Foo Fighters are currently touring their latest album, Medicine at Midnight. While performing in Las Vegas, they brought out a special guest – KISS’ singer and bassist, Gene Simmons.

Grohl briefly impersonated Simmons, while guitarist Chris Shiflett began playing the riff from KISS’ “Calling Dr. Love”. Grohl stopped the music, saying, “We can’t do that in front of Gene Simmons.”

Grohl then invited the iconic rocker out to join the band on stage. Simmons walked out and greeted Grohl with a cash tip for the performance.

The meeting comes just after Grohl dressed up as Simmons for a cover of KISS’ “Rock and Roll All Nite”. Grohl and producer Greg Kurstin performed the song as part of their annual Hanukkah Sessions.
