Nandi Bushell and her family have announced plans to open their very own music school in her hometown of Ipswich, England.

The 13-year-old rose to fame after uploading drumming covers to YouTube. Those videos led to her performing with Foo Fighters, and Lenny Kravitz, and releasing a song with Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello.

Bushell, along with her family and her drumming tutor’s family, will open Stairways Music School which will mentor people of all ages and abilities.

For those attending, they’ll participate in a two-hour session to learn either drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, or vocals. Following the session, students will all perform together.

Talking about her goals for the school, Bushell said, “Friends, fun, and performing on stage.”

She continued, “I really want my students to be inspired to start learning an instrument and to know the journey is really exciting. It can take them places they never thought they were going to go to.”
