According to Tom DeLonge, the new blink-182 album is “probably the best album” they’ve ever made.

The band has yet to announce the release of the record, but it is reportedly finished. The forthcoming album will mark the LP featuring DeLonge, Travis Barker, and Mark Hoppus since 2011’s Neighborhoods.

DeLonge teased that the album is “progressive and elevated”.

In a new interview with Fender, DeLonge shared what he and his bandmates have been working on. “I still think we’re writing our best songs. I think our album coming out is probably our best album we’ve ever made.”

He added, “So it’s this really cool rebirth of everything – or the best of everything that we’ve done, but done the way people always wished we would have done it! [They’re] like, ‘Right, you guys aren’t half bad now!’ You know? ‘Thank you!'”
