While performing in California at Outside Lands, Foo Fighters took time out of their set to introduce the crowd to their new drummer, Josh Freese. The band ran through some of Freese’s previous work with bands including Devo, Nine Inch Nails, Beastie Boys – and Michael Bublé.

During the set, Dave Grohl spotted a “super fan” holding a sign that read “I <3 Bublé”. Turns out the super fan was Bublé himself.

As Bublé made his way to the stage, Grohl joked that “This motherf*cker better know the song!”. Grohl later explained that they’ve “been doing that thing where people from the audience come up and say ‘I know that f*cking song,’ and they walk up and they know the first verse, they don’t know it.” Grohl continued, “So this badass motherf*cker – and I’m not even kidding – flew in today from Argentina to f*cking sing that song to you guys. Because there’s no such thing as taking a joke too far.”
