Avril Lavigne to receive star on Canada's Walk of Fame

Avril Lavigne will receive a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame. Finally!

The Walk of Fame is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Inductees joining Lavigne include Connor McDavid, Rick Mercer, Gary Slaight, Michael Budman, and Don Green (co-founders of Roots). Prolific Cree/Metis actress Tantoo Cardinal will also receive a star on the Walk of Fame in recognition of her 50-year career. She stars in Martin Scorsese’s upcoming film, Killers of the Flower Moon.

Canada’s Walk of Fame will celebrate its anniversary on December 2. The event will air on CTV at a later date.
