Back in September, Sum 41 released their single “Landmines”. The song appears on the band’s final album, Heaven :x: Hell. Frontman Deryck Whibley has now revealed that the album will be released on March 29.

Whibley said in a statement, “Once I heard the music, I was confident enough to say, ‘This is the record I’d like to go out on.’ We’ve made a double album of pop-punk and metal, and it makes sense. It took a long time for us to pave this lane for ourselves, but we did, and it’s unique to us.”

The 20-track album will be split into two parts – Heaven and Hell. Whibley explained that the Heaven side sounds like “early Sum 41 pop-punk” and that the Hell side is “newer, heavier Sum 41”.

While “Landmines” appears on the Heaven side, the band has now shared the first part of Hell. Take a listen to “Rise Up” below.
