Green Day change "American Idiot" lyrics, take a hit at Trump

Green Day performed on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and they’ve caused quite a stir. While performing “American Idiot”, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong changed the lyrics from “I’m not part of the redneck agenda” to “I’m not a part of the MAGA agenda”.The song was originally released in 2024 to criticize former president George Bush.
