Sum 41 have shared a new track off their upcoming album Heaven :x: Hell. Take a listen to “Waiting On A Twist Of Fate”.

The song will appear on the Heaven side of the double album. Deryck Whibley explained that the Heaven side sounds like “early Sum 41 pop-punk” and that the Hell side is “newer, heavier Sum 41”.

Heaven :x: Hell will be the band’s final album. In a statement, Whibley said, “Once I heard the music, I was confident enough to say, ‘This is the record I’d like to go out on.’ We’ve made a double album of pop-punk and metal, and it makes sense. It took a long time for us to pave this lane for ourselves, but we did, and it’s unique to us.”
