Along with the announcement of their “Voyage to the Blue Planet” 2024 tour, Weezer will also be releasing the 30th anniversary reissue of their 1994 album The Blue Album.

In a recent interview with Audacy Check In, frontman Rivers Cuomo confirmed the deluxe reissue will include previously unreleased songs. “They just sent me this giant box set with like four albums in it, so I was just looking at it before I walked in here. There’re a lot of old show recordings and rehearsal recordings. Like very early Weezer.”

While Cuomo didn’t confirm a release date, it’s probably safe to assume it’ll be out before the band’s tour in September. Elsewhere in the interview, Cuomo revealed that the band almost gave their song “Hash Pipe” to Ozzy Osbourne. Watch the full interview below.
