It’s taken nearly forty years, but Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon has finally announced her debut solo album.

Titled No Home Record, the album will arrive October 13 via Matador. Watch the video for the first single, “Sketch Artist”, below.

In a statement, director Loretta Fahrenholz described the video as a “haunted car ride”.

“Kim drives as ‘Unter’ Pool summons passengers throughout nighttime L.A. The city drifts by, passengers intermingle in the back seat and Kim’s deadly stare shocks pedestrians along her route.”

The upcoming album will feature Gordon’s previously released 2016 single “Murdered Out”. Check out the nine track setlist below.
