How can I collect my prize?

Please allow one business day for your prize to be processed before picking up your item at SONiC 1029. If your prize is time sensitive, your prize will be available immediately. Prizes CANNOT be mailed out!

Our offices are open Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 4:30pm, however closed for lunch between 12:30 – 1:00pm. We are closed on all holidays.

You will be required to correctly answer a skill-testing question in order to claim your prize.

You must claim your prize in person and must provide photo ID before prizes may be released. If you won through Club SONiC, you must also bring a copy of the confirmation email containing the winner’s instructions you received after winning your online prize. If you want someone else to pick up your prize, they must come with a letter from you and a photocopy of your official ID. The letter must name who will be picking up your prize and include their home telephone number. Please note the prize you have won and the date of winning. Also note that you cannot pick up more than one prize at a time, other than your own (if applicable).

You have 30 days from the day you won on-air or the day the winning email was sent to you, to pick up your prize. Please be advised that some prizes have time restrictions (eg. concert tickets or movie passes) and it is the responsibility of the listener to pick up their prize before the expiry date. If you pick up a prize after it has expired, SONiC is not responsible for replacing it.

Some prizes will not be awarded to winners who are under 18 years of age. In some specific cases (eg. trip winners), parents or legal guardians will be required in-person to sign a waiver form on the winner’s behalf. Please be aware our station policy is that listeners/online members are not permitted to win more than once in a 30 day period.

All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and have no cash value. There will be no substitutions.

I have recently won a contest with SONiC 1029. Am I eligible for any other contests?

If you have won a prize on-air or online, you cannot win another prize for 30 days, as per the SONiC 30-Day Policy. If you only qualified for a contest, you may win a prize within 30 days, unless otherwise specified. See the official rules for further details.
